This mini-course provides a comprehensive understanding of Botox and neurotoxins. Topics covered include:
- The history of neurotoxins

- Pitfalls of neurotoxin application and how to avoid them
Students will learn about BotoxNatomy™, which details the anatomy of muscles used to make different facial expressions, along with the muscles’ associated actions.
Students will also learn the clinical application of neurotoxins, including the proper clinical assessment, markings, and dosage, as well as the art of injecting neurotoxins to soften expressive lines and create upper and lower facelift.
Lastly, students will receive a first-hand look at different injection techniques for different purposes and different areas of the face. The final collection of videos demonstrate the art of injecting the forehead, droopy eyebrows, crow’s feet, frown lines, bunny lines, gummy smile, lip definition, chin enhancement, jawline and lower face contouring and platysma bands.
Inexperienced practitioners will gain a comprehensive understanding of neurotoxins, while experienced injectable practitioners will be able to further enrich their existing knowledge.
